Math
Another area is Math. In our Math area we teach children quantities as well as numbers. A child should understand a number is not just a symbol with a name, it is more accurately the description of a quantity. Our math materials are concrete – that means we present activities that show each number by a concrete sample of it's quantity. The Montessori bead system is complete in it's ability to teach children in a very hands-on, understandable way, numbers and quantities.
